Actress Tanushree Dutta has been in the headlines after posting a disturbing video on Tuesday night, revealing that she is being harassed at her home. She also mentioned that her health is deteriorating and that she has even sought help from the police. In a new development, the actress has drawn parallels between her harassment and the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Tanushree compares her ordeal to SSR’s Death
In an exclusive interview with News18, the Dhol actress claimed that a powerful force within Bollywood is working against her, much like what was speculated in the case of the late Sushant Singh Rajput. For the unversed, Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020, sparking massive public outrage and theories surrounding the so-called 'Bollywood mafia'. "Like Sushant Singh Rajput, there is an attempt to kill me too," she told the portal.

In a recent video message, Tanushree further alleged: “The Bollywood mafia gang is huge, and like Sushant, my life is also in danger.”
Tanushree, who was among the first prominent voices in India’s MeToo movement in 2018, connected her current situation to the controversy surrounding her allegations against Nana Patekar. “Since I raised my voice against Nana Patekar for the incident that happened during the MeToo movement, suspicious activities have started around me," she said, adding, “I am being followed constantly. I am being harassed.”

I cannot even hire maids because they planted maids in my house. I had such a bad experience with maids. They came and stealing stuff from my house. I have to do all my work. I am being troubled in my own house. Please someone help me.”

About Tanushree’s MeToo allegations
Tanushree had made strong accusations against Nana Patekar for sexually harassing her on the sets of Horn Ok Please in 2008. However, Nana denied the allegations. She filed an FIR in October 2018. Nana Patekar was cleared of the sexual harassment charges by the police in 2019. This year when the case was disposed, the Chocolate actress reacted and stated she will make sure she gets justice.
