Dharmendra and Salman Khan have been close for a long time. While Salman Khan considers Dharmendra to be a father figure, the latter also refers to him as his third son. As the legendary actor recovers at home after being discharged from Breach Candy Hospital, an old video featuring Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, and Dharmendra on the Bigg Boss stage has gone viral.

Dharmendra called Salman Khan his son

In a now-viral social media video, Dharmendra and Bobby Deol can be seen joining Salman Khan onstage. The video shows Dharmendra discussing his connection with Salman, saying, "Waise main toh kahunga, yeh mera beta hai." Mere teen bete — teeno jazbaati, khuddar, and transparent hain. (Well, I would call him my son. I have three sons, all of whom are emotional, self-respecting, and truthful.

He went on, gazing at Salman, and remarked, "Par yeh mujh par thoda zyada gaya hai," which split Salman and Bobby, who agreed with his father.

Continuing, Dharmendra explained why he believes so, saying, "Kyunki yeh rangeen mizaaj hai aur meri tarah thumka bhi lagata hai. (Because, like myself, he is naturally vibrant and enjoys dancing.)"

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was seen outside Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital late on Sunday evening, where veteran actor Dharmendra had been admitted. The actor arrived in his automobile, garnering the attention of fans and paparazzi waiting outside the hospital.

Regarding Dharmendra's health

Dharmendra, a veteran actor, was hospitalised at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai a few days ago after suffering difficulty breathing. Later, rumours circulated that he had been put on ventilator support, and some stories even prematurely declared his death.

Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital yesterday, November 12, after his family decided to take him home to complete his treatment.

An official statement was released by Sunny Deol's team which read, "Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you."
