Bollywood actress Esha Deol, who announced separation from her husband Bharat Takhtani after 11 years of marriage, was seen making her first public appearance on Monday at the Mumbai airport. Esha left for Goa to attend Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding, which is set to take place on February 21.

Esha and Bharat called it quits earlier this month. The reason behind their separation is still unknown. An official statement issued by them read, "We have mutually & amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected throughout. Esha and Bharat tied the knot in a low-key wedding ceremony at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai on June 29, 2012. Their daughter Radhya was born in 2017. The couple welcomed their second daughter, Miraya in 2019.
Esha is the daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini. As per a report by Bollywood Life, the senior superstar wants his daughter to reconsider her decision to divorce for the sake of her two daughters. A source told the portal, "No parents can be happy seeing their children’s family being broken. Even Dharmendra ji is a father and one can understand his pain. It’s not that he is against his daughter’s decision to get separated but wants her to rethink over it."
Esha made her acting comeback last year, with the thriller series 'Rudra: The Edge of Darkness' alongside actor Ajay Devgn which premiered exclusively on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.
She will also be seen in an upcoming series 'Invisible Woman' alongside veteran actor Suniel Shetty, which is backed by the film arm of Saregama India -- Yoodlee Films. Rajesh M Selva of 'Thoongaa Vanam' and 'Kadaram Kondan' fame is helming the project.
