Dangal won the Best Asian Film Award at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts awards in Sydney yesterday. Telly actor Sakshi Tanwar, who played the role of Mahavir Phogat's wife in the film, received the honour on the unit's behalf. The award was presented by Russell Crowe.
