Salman Khan visits Salim Khan at hospital

Paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared the news on his Instagram handle. On Tuesday, February 17, he posted a video from outside Lilavati Hospital with the caption on the clip reading, "Salim Khan admitted to Lilavati Hospital."

The superstar looked visibly concerned as he emerged from the hospital, dressed in a black T-shirt and pants. He was closely accompanied by tight security, following threats celebrities are receiving in recent times from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. As of now, there has been no formal statement from the Khan family regarding what medical condition led to Salim Khan’s hospitalisation. After Salman, his brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, was seen arriving at the hospital.

About Salim Khan

Meanwhile, in November 2025, Salim Khan and Salma Khan celebrated 61 years of marriage. The celebration was a grand event with the Khan family in attendance. To note, their anniversary coincides with those of Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma.

Talking about Salim Khan, he was one half of the iconic duo Salim-Javed and redefined Bollywood storytelling in the 1970s and 1980s. Their films such as Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewaar, Don, and Trishul became cultural landmarks and played a pivotal role in making Amitabh Bachchan a Bollywood superstar.

Salman Khan upcoming movies

Workwise, Salman will next be seen in Battle of Galwan. It is inspired by the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh on the night of June 15–16, 2020. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh in a key role, along with Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, Abhilash Chaudhary, Vipin Bhardwaj, and Heera Sohal. So far, two songs from the film are out, and they have received a positive response.

However, the film was recently in the news after reports claimed that it will skip an Eid release. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, “Battle of Galwan is scheduled to be released on April 17. But the shoot is not yet over, and the reshoot is taking more time than expected.”
