A controversy erupted on Wednesday after actor Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed by a massive crowd at the song launch of Sahana Sahana from The Raja Saab at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad. In clips emerging from the incident, people were seen trying to take selfies with her and touch her. After the videos went viral on social media, the police have filed a case against the mall and the event's organisers.

On Thursday, a case was registered in Hyderabad against the management of Lulu Mall as well as the event organisers following the incident wherein Nidhhi was mobbed by a large crowd. Police officials told PTI that a case has been registered against the management of the mall and organisers for hosting the event without prior permission.
“A celebrity was invited, and the event was organised without obtaining permission. Hence, a case has been registered,” an official at the KPHB police station told the news agency.

The song Sahana Sahana from The Raja Saab was expected to be launched at the mall at 5 PM on Wednesday. However, like most Telugu film events, the event was delayed by hours. A video captured at the mall ahead of the event showed that a massive crowd had already gathered.
Actors Prabhas and Riddhi Kumar, along with director Maruthi, producer TG Vishwa Prasad, and music composer Thaman, were also present for the event. However, the event turned chaotic when the actress was mobbed while leaving the venue, as fans mobbed around her in an attempt to take photographs.
Videos of the incident show the actress appearing visibly distressed and uncomfortable while moving through the crowd. Nidhhi was seen trying to shield herself as she got mobbed for selfies. A few people from the crowd can be seen trying to touch her as her security team guards her. The actor has yet to react to the incident.
