Supriya Menon, producer and wife of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, has named a troll who has been harassing her since 2018. She took to her Instagram Stories and publicly identified the woman, exposing her face while addressing the trolling she has endured on social media from the said person.
Supriya exposes troll
The picture posted by Supriya was of the woman’s profile photo. She claimed that the woman, through that account, has been harassing her for years. Supriya wrote, “Meet @christinaeldo. She has been passing nasty comments on most accounts that post something about me. She would constantly create fake accounts and post, and I continued to block her. I found out who she is years ago but let it be, as she has a young son.”
However, it seems Supriya decided to expose the person after the harassment continued. “Even that filter she has on is not enough to hide the ugliness she holds inside and has spewed at me since 2018.”
According to a report in ETimes, Christina Eldo, aka Christina Babu Kurien, is a Malayali nurse settled in the USA. Reportedly, Supriya decided to call her out after she made distasteful remarks about Supriya’s late father. Back in 2023, Supriya had hinted at taking legal action after inappropriate comments were made about her family.
Who is Supriya Menon?
She is a former journalist based in Mumbai. She married Malayalam film superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in 2011 after dating for a couple of years. Their daughter, Alankrita, was born in 2014. Currently, she is a film producer and heads Prithviraj Productions.
While she has been handling the production side of the company owned by Prithviraj. However, she still battles with her individual identity. In an interview with Film Companion South, she shared, “I achieved my professional position without anyone’s recommendation. It was a job and career I earned on my own. But now, as a producer, there are many privileges. Everyone now knows me as the wife of Prithviraj, the actor who carved his own path and moved forward. But even in this, I have my struggles. Because I am now trying to make people understand that I am Supriya.”
She added, “People should see me as a separate individual. I constantly try to make people understand that they shouldn’t confuse me with Prithviraj. I don’t want to be known as ‘his wife’, ‘his mother’, ‘his daughter’. I am preparing to create my own name. The reason I have confidence is my father. My parents didn’t raise me in a cage. They gave me the courage to create my own wings and fly.”
