In upcoming episodes of the quiz-based reality show, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen celebrating his birthday on the Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 set. In his birthday special show, Big B will host Farhan Akhtar and Javed Akhtar. During the festivities, Big B recalled his encounter with Farhan Akhtar during Lakshya.

On Monday, Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 released a new promo for the upcoming episode on their social media account. It featured Big B talking about working with Farhan on the sets of 'Lakshya'. In the video, Sr Bachchan is seen telling Farhan's father, the legendary screenwriter Javed Akhtar., "We have also done a film, that film was 'Lakshya'. What was my experience of working with him? Raat ko yeh humare kamre mein aaye. Amitabh uncle, are you having some problem? Pehli baar laga ki main ek nausikhiya hi hoon aur yeh ustaad hai betha hua jo keh raha hai dekho bethe, hum tumko batate hain kaise acting karni chahiye (He came to our room at night. He said, 'Amit uncle, are you having some problem?' For the first time, I felt that I was a novice. And this master is sitting and telling me. 'Look, son, I will teach you how to act. You should do this')."
Javed Akhtar shares a fond memory

Later, Farhan inquired who was more popular with the ladies, and Big B swiftly pointed to Javed Akhtar. Javed Sahab asked, "What kind of a question is this?" Yeh koi poochne wali baat hain?" He later instructed Big B, "Don't reveal everything."
In another promo video, Big B will be seen cutting a cake alongside Farhan Akhtar. Later, Big B will deliver a dialogue from his 1973 film Zanjeer, written by Salim-Javed. In the promo, Amitabh Bachchan says, "Jab tak baithne ko na kaha jaaye sharafat se khade raho; yeh police station hai; tumhare baap ka ghar nahi."
Amitabh Bachchan will celebrate his birthday on October 11, with a special program airing on Friday, October 10. Amitabh Bachchan has been in the film industry for more than five decades. His last appearance on the big screen was in Kalki 2898 AD in 2024. He also appeared in the Tamil film Vettaiyan.
