Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan have bid adieu to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after 5 years

Star Plus's long running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is headed for another leap. Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi have played the leads for over 5 years and they had become very popular as Kartik and Naira on social media. Shivangi also played the role of Sirat in the latest track.
After the leap, Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant will play the new leads Abhimanyu, Akshara and Arohi respectively on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai- Nayi Peedhee Naye Rishte. The new cast started shooting since October 18 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The new series will go on air from October 26.

Mohsin shared photos of his last shot on Instgaram with the caption, "And the last shot a fairytale of the frog prince." When the show started in 2009, it was Hina Khan and Karan Mehra who played the leads with Mohsin and Shivangi taking over as Kartik and Naira post a generation leap.
