Comedian and Bigg Boss 19 fame Pranit More recently received severe backlash over his latest stand-up comedy video involving crowdwork. Following the criticism, More has now issued a public apology. He expressed regret for not calling out a derogatory remark made towards women by an audience member during the show.
Pranit More criticised for laughing at a derogatory remark
In the controversial clip, the comedian was seen laughing at an audience member's account of a date. The member, identified as Himanshu Jangra, recalled going out with a woman to a market and asking her what she would like to eat. He revealed that the two eventually ate chicken biryani that cost around Rs 360-370.
