Dipika Kakar to not star in of Sargun Mehta, Ravi Dubey's upcoming project

Dipika Kakar and Vivian Dsena have neither confirmed nor denied reports of their involvement in a new show produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's Dreamiyata Entertainment. But, according to a person close to the situation, fans may have to wait a bit longer for the actress's television return.

Pinkvilla reported that the source close to the shared, “It is not true. She is only focusing on her health and quality time with her family.”

Previously, an India Forums source stated that Vivian and Dipika are in discussions for Dreamiyata's upcoming show. Following her appearances in Sasural Simar Ka and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, the actor rose to fame. She later won Bigg Boss 12 and has been gone from daily soaps for quite some time. She last appeared on Celebrity MasterChef.

All about Dipika's health

Regarding her health, Dipika Kakar recently underwent a 14-hour surgery in June 2025 after being diagnosed with stage-2 liver cancer. The actress is currently at home, resting and recovering. Fans were overjoyed to hear the news of her reappearance, but it appears they will have to wait a little longer.

Dipika Kakar revealed in a recent YouTube live that she may return to the screen. When asked by a fan about her plans to resume acting, she answered, "She would love to." The actress also revealed that she had approached her physicians about returning to work. 

Dipika discussed her Target Therapy post the Liver cancer surgery. The actress shared that she had mouth ulcers due to the side effects of the therapy. Although Dipika has been taking all the precautions to stay safe. She even underwent a mammography to confirm that the lymph nodes that were built in the left breast during the cancer diagnosis have finally disappeared. She has been healing and resting at home as she recovers.
