In an exclusive chat with mid-day Ansha Sayed got candid about her birthday celebration plans, the rituals that she follows and more

Ansha Sayed plays the character of Purvi in CID, it has been more than a decade the actress has been associated with the show. As she celebrates her 37th birthday, the actress exclusively shared how she planned her special day and her close bond with the CID Team.
Her plans for the day
Ansha's birthday plans, "We will be celebrating on the sets, and we will be shooting together. I believe that is the best way to celebrate, we have been shooting for so long together, so what better way to celebrate my birthday? I am not a prey for their pranks, especially on my birthday, because the rest of the year, they have numerous pranks. So on my birthday, they pamper me and take care of me, and they let me be without playing any pranks. We have all been together since 2011."
The gifting ritual among the team
She shared about the gifting ritual, "So, on a birthday, they don't behave like that because Satam Sir keeps gifting us throughout the year. On a birthday, all of them would come up with nice gifts. First of all, Satam Sir will ask me what he should gift, and then he will plan on gifting a shirt or sunglasses. Apart from that, he keeps bringing gifts for all of us. If he visits Pune, then he will bring sweets from there. All of us, wherever we travel, if we are out of town, then we have to bring specialities of the place. So if we are in Gujarat, you have to get goodies from there. The gifting thing is a ritual in our team."
On her celebration plans
Ansha further quipped, "I was very young when I started the show, and they really looked after me. I have grown with the show, and I am growing older with them. Indeed, by all traits, I have grown with the team. We go out for dinner post pack-up, all of us demand for party, especially on birthdays. So our dinner plans are always there, and we often opt for a place which is empty and we have our space. We don't shoot videos or click pictures as such, if we are in our space there, then probably we all would dance a little and enjoy the meal. It is a little serious set-up, the young lot may be making a few posts or reels, but then we wouldn't be doing that much. "
