Bigg Boss 19 Winner Akanksha Chamola, Gaurav Khanna's wife, was recently criticised for her viral dancing video. The actress danced her heart out with two girls in the video. She was later heavily attacked for it. And now, in an interview, Gaurav has defended his wife. The actor revealed that Akanksha had been dancing with members of his publicity crew. Many people criticized Akanksha's dance moves and made nasty remarks. Defending his wife, the actor stated that he does not care about trolls on social media.

In an interview with Hungamastudio, Gaurav stated that Akanksha was dancing with members of his publicity team, who worked hard while he was in the Bigg Boss 19 house.
"It was their success party and we were there to be a part of their celebration. And as I don't enjoy dancing much, my wife Akanksha felt she should join them and make the moment bigger as it was everyone's victory. A lot of them don't even know who she was dancing with. I just stood behind and let her enjoy it as it was my team's win after all. They were the people who worked hard for me in my absence and they also deserve to enjoy themselves," he said.

The actor also remarked that he does not care about trolls. Gaurav further expressed his satisfaction with Akanksha's extrovert nature and no-filter attitude. "These are the things that others like about us as a marriage. Aur jinko nahi pasand aaraha hoon, shayad agle project mein pasand ajaun. I'll do my best to win them over as well," he said.
While exclusively talking to midday, Gaurav Khanna had opened up about choosing to go on a trip with wife Akanksha over his boys gang from Bigg Boss 19, he said, "I am a happily married guy. I’d rather travel with my wife. I haven’t even gone back home yet. Let me get back to the real world first, then I’ll take it from there."
Gaurav and Akanksha have been blissfully married for the past nine years. The actor's hometown of Kanpur served as the venue for their wedding.
