Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin goes off-air
One of television’s most popular shows, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, is going off-air after enjoying a great response some time back. There had been a rumour that the show was under scrutiny due to declining TRPs for a while now, but there was no confirmation. However, now the cast members shared posts on social media from their last day on set, which confirmed the news.

Interestingly, a few months ago, the producers introduced a time leap with a completely new set of lead characters. However, the revamped storyline also failed to resonate with viewers.
In an attempt to boost ratings, the makers brought back Bhavika Sharma, aka Savi. But that too failed to receive a positive response. According to a Telly Express report, the cast and crew shot the final episode on Sunday, June 29. Consequently, the show is expected to go off air in the first week of July. It is believed that Savi (Bhavika) and Neil (Param Singh) will part ways on friendly terms, and not as a romantic couple.
Noatbly, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin first premiered in 2020 with Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Ayesha Singh as the leads. Following a major leap, Bhavika Sharma, Shakti Arora, and Hitesh Bharadwaj were brought on board as the new faces. Earlier this year, in January, another revamp introduced Vaibhavi Hankare, Param Singh, and Sanam Johar in lead roles. Nevertheless, it seems like fresh cast failed to keep the audience engaged.

Both the lead actors, Bhavika and Param, confirmed the closure through their Instagram stories. Bhavika shared a mirror selfie with the caption, “Definitely going to miss Savi.' She also shared a clip in her police avatar and wrote, “Last day."
On the other hand, Param, who returned to television after a long break with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, also shared a video on his story and wrote, “Last day #backsoon."
Recently, it was reported that Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar makers had reapproached Hitesh Bhardwaj days after he exited the show. During an exclusive interview with News18, Hitesh Bhardwaj spoke about the same, mentioning that even though he does not regret not being able to rejoin the show, it will always be special for him.
