His second wife, Mehzabeen Coatwala has been taking of his son and she recently shared an update from the hospital. She urged all the parents to take care of their kids hygiene in sucn sensitive times and wished speedy recovery for their son

Munawar Faruqui have been in the news several times for his personal life. While he is currently having a great time with success of his show, an unfortunate incident has occurred in his life. Munawar’s son Mikael has been hospitalized due to viral infection and his second wife, Mehzabeen Coatwala is taking care of him. The makeup artist took to her social media and shared update on her stepson urging all parents to take of their children health and be cautious.

Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared two pictures. In one of them, the little boy is seen resting on his mother’s chest while in another, she is lovingly holding his hand. She wrote a note along that read, “To all parents, with the viral infections going around, let’s be extra cautious. Keep an eye on your kids’ hygiene and take care! Get well soon my baby boy”.
Munawar on real reason behind his marriage
During an interaction on Farah Khan’s YouTube channel, the Bigg Boss 17 winner shared the real reason behind his decision to get married. He shared, “When I came out of Bigg Boss, I was busy with a lot of work. At that time, Mikael was living with my sister then. When he was leaving, I felt like I didn’t want him to go. I felt that he needs me. That time he kept hugging me the whole time, I felt that he needs me. At that point I wondered what I could so to keep him with me. For him, I took that decision.”
For those unaware, Mehzabeen too has a 10-year-old daughter from her previous marriage and was in a similar situation. Eventually the comedian proposed her and they tied the knot secretly in May 2024. Their marriage was an intimate affair sans media glare. To note, before his wedding, Munawar was in news after Ayesha Khan entered Bigg Boss and hurled several accusations at him of being a womaniser.
On the work front, he was last seen in the MX Player series First Copy, which also stars Krystle Dsouza. It is currently receiving a great response. He will next be seen hosting Colors TV fun show Pati Patni Aur Panga with Sonali Bendra.
