Rise & Fall, hosted by Ashneer Grover, premiered two days ago and has already struck a chord with audiences. The show began with candidate Noorin Sha breaking down as she spoke about her father, acclaimed writer Naeem Sha, who has been silently battling sickness.
Noorin recounted, through tears, about her father losing vision in one eye. "My father, na, once became ill and lost vision in one eye." He was once filming a video of me and told me he couldn't see well. "My father did such amazing work, but he never received recognition," she added.
Anaya spoke about her surgery
During the poignant talk, model and activist Anaya Bangar discussed her transition, childhood struggles, a lack of family acceptance, and the ongoing fight for trans athletes' rights.
"After transitioning, I didn’t have any rights to play. I am fighting for those rights. I feel trans sportsmen should go through tests to show there’s no unfair advantage, and they can be included in teams rather than having a separate team. My family hasn’t accepted me, but maybe they will with time," Anaya shared.
She shocked everyone in the home when she revealed the exorbitant expense of her transition surgery. Anaya stated that the procedure costs Rs 50 lakh.
Hearing this, fellow participant and prominent actor Arjun Bijlani donated Rs 10 lakh from his prize money if he wins the competition to help Anaya with her operation expenses. Contestant Aarush Bhola stepped in, guaranteeing an extra Rs 5 lakh from his earnings. This moment made both the housemates and the spectators extremely emotional.

The reality show has a unique game style in which 'Rulers' live in luxury in a penthouse and 'Workers' compete for power in a bare-bones basement. The game of power will be streamed on Amazon MX Player every day for 42 days.
