The makers of Bridgerton have shared the teaser of the upcoming season, and it surely is a tease. Every season focuses on the romance of a Bridgerton family member, and this time it is Benedict's turn. Along with the teaser launch, the makers also announced the release date of the upcoming season. It will arrive in two parts. The first four episodes will debut on January 29, 2026, on Netflix.
Bridgerton season 4
As per Netflix's description for Season 4, "' Bridgerton' turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down - until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade ball."

When Variety spoke with new Bridgerton showrunner Jess Brownell about the season 3 finale in June, she teased Benedict Bridgerton as the season 4 lead and broke down the decision to reveal his pansexuality during Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope’s (Nicola Coughlan) season which is based on the fourth ‘Bridgerton’ book, ‘Romancing Mister Bridgerton’, and swapped places with Benedict’s story for the TV series.
“I knew that people out there had a feeling Benedict might be queer,” Brownell said. “And personally, it made sense to me. He’s not just open-minded, it’s that he seems like the type of person who wouldn’t be as concerned with gender, someone who might be more fluid and pansexual. He’s really attracted to someone’s spirit. And so it felt like we should make sense of those pieces that were in Seasons 1 and 2. That was what we were attempting to do with his storyline.”

Additional series regulars include Daniel Francis as Lord Marcus Anderson, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Martins Imhangbe as Will Mondrich, Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Will Tilston as Gregory Bridgerton, Polly Walker as Portia Featherington, Emma Naomi as Alice Mondrich and Hugh Sachs as Brimsley.

According to Variety, the fourth season marks the halfway point for Netflix's Bridgerton TV series adaptation.
Based on Julia Quinn's romance series about the eight siblings in the titular Bridgerton family, the streamer is set to adapt all eight books. It was previously announced that Netflix renewed Bridgerton for seasons 5 and 6.
