Tahir hopes to replicate Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’s success as romantic thriller’s second season is slated to roll in April

The year 2022 saw Tahir Raj Bhasin in diverse projects — from comedy thriller Looop Lapeta, to a drama in Ranjish Hi Sahi. Undoubtedly, his biggest highlight of the year was Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein. The Netflix romantic thriller may have come without fanfare, but soon caught the attention of OTT viewers. A year on, director Sidharth Sengupta is set to roll the second season of the Bhasin, Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Anchal Singh-starrer.

Bhasin, who plays Vikrant Singh Chauhan — the central character around which the violent story of obsession revolves, says the team is aiming to up the ante. “Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein is a special show for me. The popularity of the series took us all by [surprise]. Our team is working hard to ensure that the [next edition] has the same thrill and entertainment. We are scheduled to shoot this year,” states the actor. The show is currently in the scripting stage. If things go as planned, the project will go on floors around April-May.
