A week after the announcement of his India tour, it has been announced that 'Mr Worldwide' Pitbull will not be visiting the country for his two performances.
A statement released by BookMyShow to mid-day said, “We regret to share that Pitbull’s I’m Back Tour in India, on December 6th in Gurugram and December 8th in Hyderabad, has been cancelled, owing to operational constraints.
We know how excited fans were to see Mr. Worldwide live and we share their disappointment. All ticket holders have already been communicated via SMS, Email and WhatsApp and will receive a complete refund within 8-10 working days.”
The India leg of the tour was supposed to be held at HUDA Grounds in Gurugram on December 6 and Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad on December 8 promising two nights of high-octane hits, and the larger-than-life energy that the singer, popularly known as Mr. Worldwide delivers.
Following his 2024 collaboration with rock legend Bon Jovi on ‘Now or Never’, Pitbull has been igniting arenas worldwide with his ‘I’m Back’ tour. From Europe to Australia, fans have taken the excitement to the next level by dressing up like Pitbull, proudly calling themselves “The Bald E’s,” turning his signature look into a viral global fan movement. The energy, creativity and enthusiasm of his audiences have made each show an unforgettable celebration of music, community and fun.
Armando Christian Pérez, known globally as Pitbull, is a Grammy Award-winning international superstar, entrepreneur and education advocate. With billions of audio streams and video views, hundreds of gold and platinum certifications and his signature “EEEEEEEYOOOOOO” trademarked by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Pitbull has become one of the most influential artists in music today.
However, fans will have to wait longer for him to make his maiden visit to the country soon.
In the mean time, they can get ready to witness many other international artists including Passenger, Travis Scott, Akon and more later this year along with the likes of Sunburn 2025 in Mumbai, before Lollapalooza India 2026 takes over in January with Linkin Park as headliners, among other global artists in the line-up.
