I love my partner dearly, but I can't cope with his aversion to hygiene. He wasn't like this when I first met him. We are in a live-in relationship, but I hate having him in bed because quite frankly, he smells. The idea of sex with him is abhorrent for the same reason. I've told him about it, but he just does not care. He has become a messy lazy slob.

Hygiene isn't an option, it's a necessity. He can't move around raising a stink. Stock up on men's body washes, shampoos, deos, after-shave, colognes and perfumes. Tell him how important it is to use such products— the reason why a plethora of them are available in the market. Refuse to go out with him in public because it is embarrassing as he raises a stink. During summer time, it can be revolting. If he is lazy, you need to give him an ultimatum so that he takes it seriously. Lack of hygiene can also cause disease and because of him you are exposing yourself to the germs as well.
