Are you a gamer? Here&rsquo;s some good news: the Indian Game Expo (IGX) is back in town, and it&rsquo;s bigger and better this time around.
IGX will feature competitive tournaments around popular games like FIFA 17, WWE 2K17, Mortal Kombat XL, PES 2017 and Counter-Strike, where you stand the chance to win cash and prizes worth lakhs.
Last year, IGX hosted India&rsquo;s first large-scale cosplay competition focused purely on gaming. This time, it&rsquo;s spread over two days, with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh up for grabs.
There&rsquo;s more in store. With hardware giants like Asus and Alienware showcasing their gaming PCs, visitors will get a glimpse of the latest in high-end PC gaming technology. The expo also features a stellar line-up of the latest blockbuster games, such as No Man&rsquo;s Sky, Mafia III, FIFA 17 and Uncharted 4: A Thief&rsquo;s End, among others.
Apart from this, Sony&rsquo;s PlayStation VR virtual reality headset &mdash; which works with the PS4 console &mdash; will be in India for the first time at IGX. There are also great deals on games, hardware and merchandise to look forward to.
The best part? There&rsquo;s no entry or participation fee. All you need to do is register yourself online or at the venue, and you&rsquo;re good to go.
