New Delhi: Whatspp is all set to block links of the rival-messager Telegram on android smartphones. In Telegram, users can create a hyperlink to their Telegram id, which reads as telegram.me/username and invites their friends to chat on the app.

While the links are working on WhatsApp’s iOS app, on Android the links are disabled, which means that you can’t tap on them to open the Telegram page.
