Pics/Hassan M Kamal The seating is divided into two areas -- an al fresco section that partially opens to the street, and an indoor-AC seating with coloured lights and few hand-painted dabbas hanging from the ceiling. The decor of the restaurant was indicative of their character as we were to find out -- a no-nonsense joint with homely food. Located near the AH Wadia High School on Andheri&rsquo;s busy JP Road, this newly opened restaurant takes pride in its quick delivery and concise, crisp menu -- almost like a roadside dhaba rolled into an urbane seating and styling. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/oct/Mauja1_1.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 332px;" /> Butter Chicken Roll and Prawns Koliwada served with green chutney With no more than 50 items on the menu, it was easy to decide. For starters, we opted for Prawns Koliwada (Rs 200) and Mauja Masti Platter Non Veg (Rs 250). We decided to order our mains in the same go -- the Chicken Biryani (Rs 160), Rogan Josh (Rs 160), Saag Chicken (Rs 160), Laccha Paratha and Pudina Paratha (Rs 20 each), Dal Makhani (Rs 80), Steamed Rice (Rs 50) and Butter Chicken Roll (Rs 80) wereour choices. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/oct/Mauja-2.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 117px;" /> Served with green coriander chutney, the Prawns Koliwada were deep-fried and coated in a fiery red-coloured batter. They were crunchy and perfect to set any evening rolling. The Mauja Masti Platter, an assortment of Mutton Seekh Kebab, Chicken Lasooni Tikka, Chicken Malai Tikka and Chicken Tikka matched up to our expectations. The portions were generous and the meat was well done. For Rs 250, it&rsquo;s a good deal. The Chicken Biryani was a bit too spicy, but if you&rsquo;re okay with the fiery spell, take our word, you might not regret having it. The Rogan Josh wasn&rsquo;t the best we&rsquo;ve tasted but it wasn&rsquo;t bad either. We liked the fact that we didn&rsquo;t have to scout for meat pieces in it. We, however, were a tad disappointed with the Saag Chicken, as the pieces were a bit chewy and tasted raw. The gravy of the two chicken dishes, however, left us asking for more, and made for the perfect accompaniment for the Laccha Paratha.
