When we heard that the month-old hotel, T24 Residency, located strategically near the international airport, had opened a warm, cosy rooftop restaurant called Toast, we were curious about the space. On stepping in, at Toast, we liked what we saw. The bright, patch worked chairs with wooden and glass top tables, well-stocked bar with bulbs suspended from the ceiling, were inviting. The open-air space made for a perfect breakfast stop, to laze over a cuppa or a chilled out evening hangout to muse over a neon-lit city. However, the warehouse overkill could have been avoided, as the red brick interiors and slanting ladder book case are becoming predictable elements at new spaces in the city.
