Mumbai Food: Breach Candy eatery revitalised the menu to include more healthy op

We revisit an eatery in Breach Candy that focuses on clean eating after a year, to discover that they have revitalised the menu to include more healthy options

The first time we visited Candy & Green at Breach Candy was in February last year, when it launched with the idea to serve food "free of meats, eggs and nasties". We remember being pampered by celebrity chef Karishma Sakhrani, who created a clean-eating, ingredient-centric menu for the vegetarian restaurant, without relying on paneer. Owner Shraddha Bhansali had also roped in Linesh Pillai of Terra Farms to transform her terrace into a micro farm, which was replanted after the rains destroyed it.
