When you step into The Bar Stock Exchange's latest outfit at Kamala Mills, you might be forgiven for believing you’ve walked into a Herbology class at Hogwarts, held in the greenhouses behind the magical castle. With sunlight streaming in from large glass windows and a transparent high ceiling pitched roof, the stunning 7,000 square-feet pub, owned by Mihir Desai and Amit Singh of Corum Hospitality, includes a ground floor, a top floor and a mezzanine. “We took some time to build it but the interiors have surpassed our expectations. It is our biggest outlet in Mumbai yet. We wanted to break the monotony of a commercial complex and present a relaxed, urban vibe,” say Desai, about the chain’s seventh outlet in India. With different seating sections, a special deck for gigs and a state-of-the-art DJ console, it also doubles up as workshop-cum-co-op workspace.
