Ling’s Pavilion hardly needs any introduction. Among Colaba’s oldest Chinese joints, the restaurant is well known among lovers of the cuisine for its flavoursome dishes that are well suited to the Indian palate. The Sui Mai available in chicken (INR 440), pork (INR 440), and prawns (INR 500) is among their specials. Vegetarians may opt for the Veg Grill Dumpling (INR 370) for a crunchy bite.

Among the most popular pan Asian joints in the city, The Fatty Bao serves a hearty mix of dim sums, baos, sushi, ramen, and small plates across cuisines. If you’re someone who likes sampling different types of food, their 18 piece Dim sum platters are ideal for you. Mamagoto’s menu is peppered with numerous comfort dishes that are great to dig in. The menu includes a limited selection of dim sums, including the Street Style Spicy Dim sum that is served with hot street style red chili and Chinese vinegar sauce. The vegetarian dim sums (INR 330) are filled with minced vegetables while the meat variant has minced chicken (INR 380), both steamed to perfection.

If you’re in the mood to go fancy, Hakkasan is the experience you want to go for. Known for serving authentic flavours, Shizusan’s extensive pan Asian menu includes several Japanese, Chinese, and Thai dishes. If you’re tired of limited vegetarian alternatives when craving dumplings, look no further. Foo’s tapas style menu includes plenty of vegetarian options.
