Star Anise Martini
<img title="Star Anise Martini" src="http://images.mid-day.com/images/images/2015/jun/star.jpg" alt="Star Anise Martini" /> Ingredients &gt;&gt; 5-6 pieces whole star anise &gt;&gt;&nbsp;10ml sugar syrup &gt;&gt;&nbsp;10ml lime juice &gt;&gt;&nbsp;20ml water &gt;&gt;&nbsp;60ml gin &gt;&gt;&nbsp;4-5 pieces of ice cubes Ingredients for foam &gt;&gt;&nbsp;10gms Molecular Lecithin Powder &gt;&gt;&nbsp;3-4 pieces whole star anise &gt;&gt;&nbsp;20ml hot water
Method &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Blend all the ingredients for creating the star anise foam together. Once the foam is created, keep it aside and bring together the ingredients for the beverage. &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Muddle whole star anise, sugar syrup and lime juice together. &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Add 4-5 cubes of ice, with water and gin. &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Shake it well and strain in a martini glass. &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Once settled in the glass, scrape the star anise foam created in step 1 and layer it on top of the liquid so as to cover it fully. &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Garnish with one whole star anise and serve.
