The accused, identified as Rubina Irshad Sheikh of Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai, has prior cases under IPC Sections 318(4), 336(2), 338, 336(3), 340(2), along with provisions of the Passport Act and Foreigners Act. She took advantage of the crowd and fled, claiming she was going to the washroom

A 21-year-old woman under judicial custody at Byculla Jail allegedly fled the police while being taken to Sir JJ Hospital for treatment of a cold, fever, skin ailments, and pregnancy-related care.

The accused, identified as Rubina Irshad Sheikh of Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai, has prior cases under IPC Sections 318(4), 336(2), 338, 336(3), 340(2), along with provisions of the Passport Act and Foreigners Act. 


She, on the pretext of going to the washroom, allegedly fled amid a crowd. A case has been registered at Sir JJ Marg police station, and a manhunt is underway.
