26/11 martyr Hemant Karkare's son Akash scored 78 percent in his HSC exmanination. The results were announced today. Akash's mother Kavita says her sonu00a0was determined to take the HSC exams.
It takes a lot of courage to pick up the pieces of your life and move on after a horrific tragedy, but Akash Karkare has done just that. Akash was in Std XII in R A Podar College in the commerce stream when his father, ATS chief Hemant Karkare, was killed by terrorists on November 26, last year. Yet, he determinedly appeared for his HSC board exams earlier this year.
