Titwala resident Vijay Kendre was used to running an obstacle course around the potholes on his daily commute until Wednesday, but one of the gaping craters claimed his life. A truck crushed the 35-year-old assistant manager with HDFC Bank after his bike fell into a pothole on the Kalyan-Bhiwandi road. While the local police claim they have filled the potholes and lit the streetlights on the road, Kendre’s wife feels it is too little, too late.
