IMA Maharashtra announces suspension of routine medical services on July 20 after assault on doctors in Dombivli

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Maharashtra has announced a 24-hour statewide suspension of routine medical services following the alleged assault on doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers at Shastrinagar Municipal Hospital in Dombivli, an official statement said on Friday.
The suspension will begin at 6 am on July 20, 2026 and continue until 6 am on July 21, 2026.
