Heavy police security was deployed in Mumbai’s Mazgaon area after organisers of a Ganesh festival procession alleged that eggs were hurled at the procession during the arrival of the Ganesh idol.

Following the incident, police personnel were deployed in large numbers in the area to prevent any further escalation and maintain law and order, as per ANI.
