Gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli’s daughters, Geeta and Yogita, file their nominations for BMC Elections 2026

Geeta Gawli submitted her nomination from ward number 212 in Byculla. She had earlier served as a corporator from the same ward after winning the 2017 civic elections. Her sister Yogita Gawli-Waghmare, filed her nomination from ward number 207 in the Byculla-Mazgaon area

Geeta and Yogita, the two daughters of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli, filed their nomination papers on Friday for the upcoming BMC Elections 2026.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections are scheduled for January 15, 2026.
