Fire breaks out at chawl, shops in Mumbai Central; no injuries reported

Following the information regarding the blaze, the fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and launched a fire-fighting operation. They classified it as a Level-I incident at approximately 11:40 pm

A fire broke out in a chawl and multiple shops on Saturday night in Mumbai Central area of the city, officials said, adding that no injuries were reported so far.
According to the officials, the blaze, a Level-I (minor) fire, broke out in the chawl. The incident was reported at around 11:31 pm to the Mumbai Fire Brigade control room.
