Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan has sanctioned Rs 25 lakh from the Chief Minister's fund for the first Marathi world literary meeting to be held in the US next month.

The Marathi literary meet, organsied by Mahrashtra Mandal Bay Area, Untied States, is to commemorate the silver jubilee of the Mandal.
