Maharashtra warns junior colleges against unauthorised Class 11 admissions

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has directed strict implementation of the centralised online admission process for Class 11 and warned junior colleges against granting unauthorised offline admissions or admitting students beyond their sanctioned intake capacity.
The directive applies to higher secondary schools and junior colleges across Maharashtra. As per a Government Resolution (GR) issued by the School Education and Sports Department, admissions to Class 11 for the academic year 2025-26 were required to be conducted through the centralised online admission system.
