Maharashtra coaching centre regulation draft gets over 11,000 suggestions, deadline extended till Sept 15

The Maharashtra government has extended the deadline for submitting suggestions and objections on the draft Maharashtra Private Coaching Centres (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2026, until September 15.

The School Education Department said the extension will give parents, students, teachers, citizens and other stakeholders more time to share their views on the proposed legislation.
