A fire broke out in a bedroom of a residential building in Thane West late on Monday night, officials from the Disaster Management Cell said.

The incident was reported around 11:17 pm on Monday from behind Cosmos Spring, Owla Naka, along Ghodbunder Road. The blaze occurred on the first floor of Laxmi Nivas, a ground-plus-one structure owned by Neelam Patil.
