Entire Maharashtra stretch of Delhi–Mumbai Expressway likely to be open for traffic by Aug 31: Fadnavis

The eight-lane greenfield access-controlled expressway connects Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Fadnavis said the project will significantly reduce travel time between Delhi and Mumbai while strengthening connectivity between the major industrial hubs

Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday inspected the Vadodara–Mumbai section of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, one of India's largest infrastructure projects being developed by the Central government at an estimated cost of nearly Rs 1 lakh crore.

Reviewing the progress of the project, Fadnavis directed officials to ensure its timely completion while maintaining high quality standards.
