Maharashtra CM Fadnavis announces ministerial task force for drone industry

The Maharashtra government will set up a ministerial task force headed by Ashish Shelar to strengthen the drone industry, implement policy measures and address entrepreneurs’ concerns. Fadnavis also called for a ‘Drone City’ and greater support for testing and R&D

The Maharashtra government will set up a ministerial task force to ensure effective implementation of the state's drone industry policy, communicate schemes to entrepreneurs and address their concerns promptly, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Thursday.

The task force will be headed by Electronics, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Minister Ashish Shelar.
