Maharashtra weather update: Heavy rain, thunderstorms likely across state till September 15

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds across several parts of Maharashtra between Friday, September 11, and Tuesday, September 15, with some districts likely to see intense spells during the weekend.
Mumbai, Thane, and Konkan to see rain and thunderstorms
Mumbai is likely to receive light rain on Friday, with conditions expected to intensify on September 12, Saturday. The city may witness thunderstorms, lightning, light to moderate rain, and gusty winds of 30 - 40 kmph at isolated places.
