IMD predicts heavy rains in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar; yellow and orange alerts issued for parts of Maharashtra

For some districts of Maharashtra, the IMD has predicted that Thunderstorm  accompanied with lightning, heavy rainfall and gusty winds at isolated places

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted heavy rainfall in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar districts.

The weather department issued yellow and orange alerts for several parts of Maharashtra.
