A 20-year-old Bandra resident and student of Peddar Road’s Sophia College, who went missing on Wednesday and left behind a suicide note, was finally located on Friday. She told the police that she had been put up at a friend’s home in Nerul.

According to crime branch officials, the girl had run away from home to escape altercations with her parents. Regular fights broke out in their family. Unable to cope with the situation, she had slipped into mild depression.
