Mumbai: Man held for forging caste certificates

The N M Joshi Marg police have arrested a man for forging caste certificates. The police say the accused initially worked as a caste certificate agent, and later began to make fake certificates, which he sold for Rs 2,000-Rs 3,000 each.
A case was registered on Wednesday and the accused, identified as Mahendra Ganpat Pawar (34), was arrested immediately. PSI Santosh Kamble from N M Joshi police station said, “Pawar has been forging caste certificates for more than two years.
