A Class 10 student tragically died from electrocution while trying to retrieve a shuttlecock from the first floor of a residential building in Mumbai's Naigaon. The incident occurred on Friday evening and was captured on CCTV. The student reportedly came into contact with an air conditioning unit during the accident.

In a heart-wrenching incident in Mumbai’s Naigaon area, a 10th-grade student died after being electrocuted while retrieving a shuttlecock. It has been reported that the student was trying to retrieve the shuttlecock from the first floor of the building while playing badminton. The incident happened in a residential society where the student resided. Tragically, the entire incident was captured on the society’s CCTV camera.

According to the reports, Akash was playing badminton with some friends in the society premises when the shuttlecock landed on the first floor. While attempting to retrieve it, he came into contact with an air conditioner unit and suffered a fatal electric shock.


The incident took place on Friday evening between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm at the Beach Complex in Naigaon.



Considering that the incident has been captured in the CCTV cameras, police officials are examining the footage as part of the ongoing investigation. Residents and local authorities have expressed shock and concern over the tragic accident.
