One held for duping Malad doctor of Rs 65 lakh in luxury property scam

Once the money was received, the accused would switch off their mobile phones and disappear

Malad’s Kurar police have arrested one of the two accused allegedly involved in duping a doctor of Rs 65 lakh by falsely promising him a luxury flat at a discounted rate in the Malad East area.

The accused had been absconding for more than two years. The arrested accused has been identified as 38-year-old Brijesh Kumar Yadav, who was apprehended from Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
