Mumbai: Fire breaks out in Parel's civic school; no casualties reported

On Monday morning, a fire broke out in a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation-run school. According to the officials, the fire was reported at Saibaba School near Mint Colony Monorail Station in Parel.

On Monday morning, a fire broke out in a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation-run school. According to the officials, the fire was reported at Saibaba School near Mint Colony Monorail Station in Parel. No casualties were reported the officials added. 

The incident was reported around 9.16 am and the Mumbai fire brigade personnel attended to the call swiftly. The blaze erupted from a storage room in the BMC school wherein a mattress caught fire. It is yet to be ascertained as to how the mattress caught fire.
