A fire broke out in a shop at Churchgate Railway Station in south Mumbai on Thursday evening, the Mumbai civic officials said, adding that no injuries were reported in the incident.
According to the officials, the incident was reported at 5:26 pm by the Western Railway.
The fire started in a shop located within the Churchgate station premises. no injuries have been reported so far, said the officials.

The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), police, and local BMC ward staff immediately rushed to the spot to launch a fire-fighting operation, they said.
An official said that there was no impact on train operations due to the blaze.
He said that after the fire broke out, the first floor was evacuated since there was lots of smoke.
While the fire brigade team alleged that Western Railway fire extinguishers did not work, WR officials said they worked well.
In a statement, WR said, "An incident of sparking due to short circuit was reported at one of stalls at Churchgate Concourse area. Immediately fire extinguisher was used by the alert staff and everything was brought under control within five minutes. There is no injury or report of any harm to anyone. Train operations are normal at Churchgate."
