Bandra’s five key roads set for heritage lighting makeover by BMC

Five prominent roads of Bandra, namely Linking Road, Carter Road, CD Road, KC Road, and Juhu Tara Road, will get a heritage lighting facelift.  These roads are popular and have a high footfall of visitors. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to use heritage lighting to improve visibility, pedestrian safety, and aesthetics of the area.

What project involves

>> Fixing approximately 190 decorative heritage lights consisting of double arms 
>> According to BMC, the lights would have a dynamic effect, ultimately attracting tourists
>> While five prominent roads have been selected, the project may be scaled at a later stage
